My complaint to the EU Ombudsman: Next week?

You may have read that I’ve started a complaint against the EU Commission to the EU Ombudsman.

Today I’ve received a letter from the Commission telling me that they are unable to stay within the legal time limits even with the documents requested in September, i.e. the documents to which my initial request from 5 July – the one my complaint to the Ombudsman is about – has been tied.

However, they inform that “the assessment of the documents has been completed” and that I could expect a decision in the course of next week. This means it will have taken 5 months to get a decision on my 5 July request.

Which doesn’t say that if and how much of the documents I will get…

    Rome wasn’t built in a day either.

    Five months in the course of a research project is pretty long. Rome wasn’t built in a day, but at least it was finished BC and not AD.
