My complaint to the EU Ombudsman: Next week?

Today I’ve received a letter from the Commission telling me that they are unable to stay within the legal time limits even with the documents requested in September, i.e. the documents to which my initial request from 5 July – the one my complaint to the Ombudsman is about – has been tied.
However, they inform that “the assessment of the documents has been completed” and that I could expect a decision in the course of next week. This means it will have taken 5 months to get a decision on my 5 July request.
